Grading

Auto-correct meaning typos

Accept close-enough meaning answers instead of shaking. Only applies to meaning questions. Reading answers always require an exact kana match.

Separate reading & meaning reviews

When enabled, reading and meaning for the same item are never presented back-to-back. All reading questions appear first, then all meaning questions (both phases are still in the same session).

Use 24-hour time

Show times as 13:00 instead of 1:00 PM throughout the app.

On'yomi display

How on'yomi readings appear in lesson content.

Adaptive interface language

Replace English words in the interface with their Japanese equivalents once you guru the matching WaniKani vocabulary item.
